The Hindu religion revolves around the concept of birth, rebirth and salvation. Every Hindu performs his karma to attain freedom from the cycle of birth and rebirth. It is believed amongst the Hindus that the visit to a Pilgrimage washes away all the sins and bad deeds that one performed in this birth knowingly or unknowingly.
